Made from the best Pinot Noirs from the plots of Rilly-la-Montagne, Ludes, Trois-Puits, Verzenay, Mailly.

Harvest base : 2020
Aging : 9 months in Burgundy barrels (228L) then 3 years on lees
Dosage : Extra Brut 2.5 gr/L

Tasting note :
Crystalline dress of a deep and luminous gold. Fine and regular effervescence.
Expressive nose developing seductive floral and fruity aromas: quince, mirabelle plum, etc.
On the palate, the wine reveals a very beautiful substance and a lovely aromatic intensity. The frank and balanced attack gives the framework: powerful and creamy.
The palate is enveloped in a voluminous, melting texture which becomes more complex and develops aromas of yellow-fleshed fruits and white flowers: vine peaches, apricot...
Finally, the long and generous finish reveals aromas of spices and toast.
Today in its early youth, tasting it easily allows us to appreciate the potential for development and aging of this Blanc de Noirs.

Nez expressif développant de séduisants arômes floraux et fruités : coing, mirabelle ...
En bouche, le vin révèle une très belle matière et une jolie intensité aromatique. L’attaque franche et équilibrée donne la trame : puissant et crémeux.
Le palais s’enveloppe d’une texture volumineuse fondante qui se complexifie et développe des arômes de fruits à chair jaune et de fleurs blanches : pêches de vignes, abricot...
Enfin, la finale longue et généreuse dévoile des arômes d’épices et de pain grillé.
Aujourd’hui dans sa prime jeunesse, la dégustation permet aisément de réaliser le potentiel d’évolution et de garde de ce Blanc de Noirs.

Thomas Herbert and Marie-Charlotte Mignucci crafted their first wines from the estate's 3 hectares and the finest grapes from their plots in Rilly-la-Montagne, Ludes, Trois-Puits, Verzenay and Mailly.

All their wines are vinified exclusively in Burgundy barrels. No bottle leaves the cellar before spending at least three years on its lees. Their approach is committed: ethical, respectful of the soil, and free from chemicals.

Herbert & Co. is the story of two wine enthusiasts who dreamed of taking over the family estate and who now dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to creating precise, elegant, and concentrated wines.
