In the heart of the great terroirs of the Côte des Blancs and the Sézannais
Domaine Pertois-Moriset was founded in 1951 by Yves Pertois and Janine Moriset in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. Today, Vincent and his wife Cécile represent the third generation, having taken over the estate in 2008.
In 2009, they invested in a new pressing center and two new wineries: stainless steel tanks on one side, and barrels and casks on the other. This was a crucial step to achieve high-quality pressing, control alcoholic fermentation, and prevent malolactic fermentation.
Today, the estate comprises 34 hectares of vines, including just over 12 hectares in the Côte des Blancs (Mesnil, Oger, Chouilly, and Cramant), 13 hectares in the Sézannais region (Barbonne-Fayel and Villeneuve), and 5 hectares in the Aube department at Loches-sur-Ource. Cécile and Vincent cultivate the estate using sustainable farming practices, with natural ground cover in winter and seasonal green tilling. All the vines are worked using electric straddle tractors for a reduced carbon footprint.
