In the heart of the Vallée de la Marne, in Cumières, Hervé Jestin founded his own Champagne house in 2006 after years as an oenologist and consultant in the Champagne region.
A pioneer of organic and biodynamic viticulture, he employs a demanding approach: harvesting on "fruit days," using indigenous yeasts, aging in oak barrels or tanks depending on the cuvée, and minimal intervention to allow the terroir to express itself fully.
The estate is based in emblematic terroirs (Cumières, Trépail, Bouzy Grand Cru) and collaborates with prestigious winemakers such as David Léclapart, Vincent Laval, and Benoît Lahaye.
These are fascinating Champagnes, characterized by great finesse and vibrant energy, revealing a strong personality, a lively minerality, and an authentic expression of the Champagne terroir. Two cuvées are available: Vintage and Clos de Cumières.
