Clément Perseval

Lively, handcrafted Champagnes

The Clément Perseval estate, located in Chamery, in the heart of the Montagne de Reims, embodies a genuine, artisanal approach to Champagne winemaking. This young winemaker, the fourth generation of his family, is dedicated to revealing the unique character of his Premier Cru terroirs, nestled between limestone, sand, and clay.

His 4-hectare vineyard is cultivated without herbicides or insecticides, using organic and agroecological methods (certified organic in 2022), prioritizing gentle practices and soil health. Vineyard work follows the lunar cycle, with particular attention paid to biodiversity.

In the cellar, Clément Perseval vinifies each plot separately, with spontaneous fermentations in barrels and stainless steel tanks. No fining or filtration is carried out, sulfur doses are very low, and malolactic fermentation is not systematically performed. Extended aging on the lees imparts remarkable depth and precision to the wines.

The estate's champagnes are distinguished by their tension, purity, and minerality, a true reflection of the Chamery terroir and Clément Perseval's refined and sensitive style.
