At Domaine Christophe Mignon, vines have been cultivated since 1882. Six generations later, Christophe's son, Loann, has taken over the reins since the 2023 harvest.
The vineyard is located in the Vallée de la Marne – Left Bank, in the communes of Le Breuil and Festigny. Six hectares of vines grow in soils primarily composed of white marl and green clay, where Meunier reigns supreme. A few plots of Chardonnay are planted in both villages, and one in Le Breuil is planted with Pinot Noir.
The Domaine is renowned for its use of alternative winemaking methods, such as phytotherapy, soil cultivation, homeopathy, the dynamization of its own preparations, and geobiology. These practices are guided by the lunar calendar, which dictates their daily routines from vine to wine.
