In Coulommes-la-Montagne, in the heart of the Montagne de Reims, Laurent Lépitre represents a new generation of Champagne winegrowers. Heir to a family that has been rooted in the village for more than a century, he has been crafting his own cuvées since 2017.
His vineyards, spread across the Montagne de Reims and the Massif de Saint-Thierry, are farmed according to the principles of biodynamic viticulture, on clay-limestone and sandy soils.
In the cellar, Laurent favours a natural approach: spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, ageing in old oak barrels, and minimal intervention. His Champagnes are above all about purity, precision and a true expression of their terroir.
A confidential and distinctive signature, to be discovered through his cuvées Le Levant and Le Couchant.
