Tom Gauditiabois is a young and talented winemaker with great promise. He has been running the family estate since the end of 2015, around 7 hectares of vines near Chezy-sur-Marne in the western part of the Marne Valley.
After completing his studies in Avize and a “wine” trip to New Zealand, he began his training for more than two years at the estate Jacques Selosse.
Currently, its operational headquarters are located in Épernay, although the future plan is to install the winery next to its own vineyards in Chezy-sur-Marne.
In the meantime, Tom has the desire to do some new ephemeral vintages each year in order to better understand and promote its region.
For the moment, the reference grape variety for the first vinifications is the Pure Meunier with an initial production in 2020 (2016 vintage) which was only produced in 500 copies. Impressive first wines! To be continued…
Anecdote: his logo represents a frog leg, emblem of his hometown of Chezy-sur-Marne.
