Coustheur-Bonnard

An interpretation of Chardonnay from Mont de Berru

Winegrowers for 10 generations, the Champagne Coustheur Bonnard estate is located in Nogent-l’Abbesse, in the Mont de Berru area of the Montagne de Reims. 3.7 hectares are cultivated in the villages of Nogent-l’Abbesse and Berru. The grape variety is almost exclusively Chardonnay.

In the vineyard

A passionate winemaker, Adrien took over the family estate in 2012. Since then, he has cultivated his vines with respect for nature and all living things. Certified in Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne, they practice natural cover cropping and tilling the soil between the vines. They are moving towards organic methods to ensure the optimal quality of the grapes.

In the cellar

They vinify their grapes and, since 2024, have offered a range of champagnes based on Chardonnay. In vats and barrels, the champagnes wait a minimum of 3 years in the cellar and are lightly dosed, to ensure an optimal and original aromatic expression of the Chardonnay from Mont de Berru.
