Champagne Expression is the House's first vintage. Systematically produced from a one-year blend and our perpetual reserve started in 1970, this Champagne seduces with its fruity dominance, its balance and its astonishing freshness on the finish. The notion of pleasure and its refreshing side make this Champagne the ideal partner for an aperitif.
TERROIR : Cumières, Hautvillers, Damery and Fleury-la-Rivière on multiple terroirs of the 3 grape varieties Pinot Noir , Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay
HARVEST : 2019 + perpetual reserve
DOSAGE : 4 g/L
VINIFICATION : Manual harvest with sorting. Traditional Coquard press. Vinification by plot in thermoregulated enamelled steel vats. Reserve wine kept in oak tuns and concrete vats. Malolactic fermentation not sought.
TASTING : Ripe and fragrant, its expressive bouquet releases beautiful aromas of stewed apple, enhanced with notes of vanilla. On the palate, the attack is very delicate with lots of fruit and a superb freshness in the finish.
PAIRINGS : Reserve this Champagne Expression for an aperitif or with starters of seafood puff pastry or braised sweetbreads.
