Champagne Rémi Leroy is an estate located in Meurville, in the heart of the Côte des Bar, in the Aube region. Born into a family of winemakers, Rémi Leroy took over the reins of the family vineyard after completing rigorous training as an agricultural engineer and oenologist in Bordeaux. He embodies a new generation of Champagne winemakers, combining technical expertise, meticulous viticulture, and a deep sensitivity to the terroir.

The estate covers approximately ten hectares, primarily planted with Pinot Noir—the king of grapes in the Côte des Bar—but also with Chardonnay, Meunier, and Pinot Blanc. The vineyard is cultivated sustainably, with particular attention paid to the natural balance of the soils and the minimization of inputs. Soil cultivation is prioritized, and treatments are kept to a minimum to preserve biodiversity and promote deep root development.

Rémi Leroy conducts precise and respectful winemaking, where the raw materials are paramount. The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness, then vinified by plot, partially in oak barrels, without excessive oak influence. Malolactic fermentation is carefully controlled according to the wines and vintages, with a clear objective: to preserve the tension, freshness, and true expression of the fruit.

Dosage is minimal, or even zero depending on the cuvée, to allow the Meurville terroir to fully express itself. Aging on the lees enhances the finesse of the bubbles and the aromatic complexity. Rémi Leroy champagnes are distinguished by their purity, depth, and remarkable balance, a perfect blend of technical precision and sensory emotion.
