Doyard - Les Lumières 2008
The aim of this vintage is to obtain great taste emotions after a longer time on lath than the rest of the range ( about 10 years minimum ). To do this, we select grapes from our greatest terroirs, 1/3 come from Ay (Pinot noir), and 2/3 come from Mesnil-sur-Oger and Avize (Chardonnay). This bottle only exists in the greatest Champagne vintages (2008 currently, then 2012, 2018, 2019 in the future ...).
- Blend of 2 grape varieties : Chardonnay 66% and Pinot Noir 34%.
- Origin of the grapes : Chardonnay from Mesnil-sur-Oger and Avize, Pinot Noir from Aÿ.
- Must from the first press for Chardonnay and Pinot noir.
- Vinification : 100% in oak barrels (Burgundy barrels of at least 5 wines)
