The House believes that each Krug Millésime expresses the unique character of a particular year. It brings together the most expressive wines from the same year, enhanced by more than ten years of ageing in the cellar. Each Krug Millésime is unique: it reveals the story of the exceptional circumstances that marked the year, and what surprised, delighted or moved our Tasting Committee during tastings.
Vintage 2011
Capturing the contrast of a paradoxical climate, Krug 2011 is the expression of a year divided in two, with seasons reversed. Telling a surprising Krug story combining finesse and power, it was dubbed “Sculpted roundness” by the Tasting Committee.
Krug 2011 is a captivating and incredibly fresh blend of Pinot Noir (46%), Chardonnay (37%) and Meunier (17%).
