Franck Bonville - Vintage 2013
Naturally Elegant White
The light yellow color adorned with sparkling reflections of this vintage is accompanied by fine discreet bubbles forming a persistent bead.
At first, the nose is rather discreet. Then sweet spring scents appear and let us imagine all the potential of this vintage. The fruity scents mingle with notes of young almonds and fresh butter.
The palate is fresh and balanced. A nice acidity supports the creamy structure brought by prolonged aging on lees. Rich exotic aromas bring volume and roundness until a long minty finish concludes the tasting.
A very promising young vintage, this meal wine will enhance a crispy quail with raisins or a finely cooked shoulder of lamb.
