Base 2014 - 35% reserve wines.
A confidential vintage from very old Meunier vines on clay, perfectly expressing the rebirth of this grape variety.
The Renaissance of the Meunier grape variety, the emblematic grape variety of the house. Through this vintage which has aged for 72 months, we highlight another expression of this grape variety, dense, complex and of infinite elegance.
Blend : 100% Meunier
Aging : aging on lees in stainless steel vats, maturation for 72 months on lees and on tips.
Dosage : 0.6 g/L
Nose : A dense and rich nose, opening with delicate citrus notes (grapefruit) and pastry notes (vanilla pastry cream with yuzu)
Palate : The attack is beautifully fresh, revealing a full and tender texture and its vinous character. The aromas of pastry cream intermingle with notes of yellow fruits and citrus fruits. The vinous and iodized finish is the sign of an elegant wine, perfect for moments of gastronomy.
FOOD AND WINE PAIRING : The wine's iodized and vinous touch offers us a very beautiful palette of pairings, going as well with seafood as with fine local products: Chicken with hay, Cod back with samphire, Sevruga caviar on blinis and 18-month parmesan. An ideal wine for your best gastronomic moments.
