At the heart of the Grande Vallée de la Marne, in Avenay-Val-d'Or 1er Cru, Domaine des Arondes crafts precise and authentic grower Champagnes. Founded in 2023 by Marie-Marjorie, the estate covers 3 hectares divided into 28 parcels, mainly planted with Pinot Noir (82%), complemented by Chardonnay (14%) and Meunier (4%). The vines, planted between 1955 and 2025, are rooted in a remarkable diversity of soils, including clay with flint, chalky colluvium on the slopes, valley bottoms, calcareous silt and calcium-rich silt. Two Chardonnay parcels located in the Côte des Blancs, in Avize and Oger, further broaden the estate's range of terroirs. The estate is committed to preserving soil life, with a parcel-by-parcel approach and HVE – VDC certification. In the cellar, Marie-Marjorie focuses on precise winemaking, natural freshness and extended ageing. With no malolactic fermentation for the majority of the cuvées and restrained dosage, the Champagnes of Domaine des Arondes seek above all to express terroir, balance and the character of each vintage. The range includes two permanent cuvées inherited from the family's know-how, Les Sentiers and Les Sentiers Roses, alongside more free-spirited cuvées that evolve with each vintage.
