FEATURES
Les Fortes Terres was the first 100% Meunier vintage of the house in 2005. We had chosen this piece of terroir because every year, in blind tasting, the quality of the wines of this place left its mark. The power and tension of this wine reflect the identity of this unique soil.
For the 2018 vintage, the harvest began on September 6.
TERROIR AND SOILS
Cuisles: 4 plots from the place called “Les Fortes Terres”.
The steep slopes in the middle of the hillsides, impacted for hundreds of years by erosion, make for shallow soils. Here the green clay is a few centimetres deep, the grapes are concentrated and you can taste the white fruits with a predominance of white peach.
