Domaine Méa - Le Grillon 21

The cuvee
Domaine Méa - Le Grillon 21
Origin : The Prestige cuvée became "Le Grillon" in homage to Christiane Méa, wife of Guy Méa and nicknamed the Grillon, thanks to whom our vineyard extended on the north face of the Montagne de Reims. Cuvée from the plots located in the villages of Ludes, Montbré and Chigny les Roses (1er Crus). The finesse and crispness of the Chardonnays from these northern terroirs are the guiding principle of this cuvée.
Grape variety(ies) : 70% Chardonnay – 30% Pinot Noir
Vinification : 10 months in enamelled vats on fine lees before drawing off
Aging : 4 years in the cellar. This aging period provides the balance of “complexity of fruit / finesse”.
Dosage : Extra-brut - 3 g/L
