Made from grapes grown on flint soil, this very typical Meunier offers aromas of fleshy and spicy fruits.

GRAPE VARIETIES AND TERROIRS

Mass selection of 100% Meunier
Soil composed of chalk and flint
Vines planted in 1965, located in Moussy (place called Les Conardins), southern exposure

VINIFICATION

Low yield
Manual harvest with sorting of grapes
Direct pressing with selection of the first juices
Cold settling for 12 to 24 hours without enzyme then barreling
Fermentation in barrels, demi-muids and tuns

BREEDING

8 months undergrowth
40 months on slats in the cellar minimum
3 months minimum after disgorging
Partial malolactic fermentation
No sticking and light filtration
Disgorging with liqueur vinified and aged in barrels
